On the Newsstand!

Having my cover illustration for "Modern in Denver" -and their feature article of my work- on the newsstand has been great fun.

I've now found it at numerous locations and each time I pass it, I get a giddy feeling... "that's me" -right there next to Dwell and Artforum.

Although having my illustrations on a store shelf isn't a new event: I've had numerous illustrations on packaging in the toy aisles at Target and Walmart. ...this feels different.

For one thing, It's more local; a visible representation of how I'm building a life for myself in my newly chosen city - Denver! It's also an expression of my current interests, as well as the beginning of a new direction in how I use my talents.

It's a very exciting time for me. I'm enjoying being part of something so visible, personal and career-fresh. 

I found this copy at the Tattered Cover in LoDo - one of my favorite bookstores in Denver. They have everything! ...and it's locally owned.
